
BITE 57: Los últimos datos sobre la persecución a los cristianos en el mundo
Todos los días, 8 cristianos en todo el mundo son asesinados por su fe. Cada semana, 182 iglesias o edificios cristianos son atacados. Y cada mes, 309 cristianos son encarcelados injustamente.
Así lo informa la Lista Mundial de la Persecución 2020, el último informe anual de Puertas Abiertas de los 50 principales países donde los cristianos son más perseguidos por su fe.
Las naciones incluidas en la lista comprenden 260 millones de cristianos que sufren niveles de persecución de altos a severos, frente a los 245 millones en la lista del año pasado.
Este año, los 10 principales países con mayor persecución a los cristianos están relativamente sin cambios. Corea del Norte ocupa el primer lugar, Afganistán el segundo puesto, seguido de Somalia en el tercero, Libia en el cuarto lugar, Pakistán ocupa la quinta posición, Eritrea la número seis, Sudán en el séptimo lugar, Yemen en el puesto ocho, Irán en la novena posición e India en el numero diez.
